Light duty Passenger Vehicles (tier 2) - Silverado's, F-250's and the Ram pickups will have the SCR technology and will require DEF

 

2010 (fully phased in) Model Year -

Medium duty and Heavy duty On-Highway Trucks - 18-Wheelers to local public utility trucks

 

2014 (fully phased in) Model Year -

Off Highway - Construction and agricultural equipment

 

2016 (fully phased in) -

Ocean Going Vessels - For vessels with SCR Technology

 

2017 (fully phased in) -

Locomotive and Marine
